Terms of Service

Terms for using this website and visiting NexVerse Arcade. Last updated August 20, 2026.

Draft — pending legal review

Who these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and NexVerse Arcade Inc. (“NexVerse”, “we”, “us”), operator of the NexVerse Arcade venue in Markham, ON, Canada, and of this website. By using the site — including joining the waitlist, creating an account, booking a session, or registering for a tournament — you agree to them.

Bookings and payment

  • Session bookings reserve a time slot at the venue. Slot times are venue local time (Toronto — Eastern).
  • Prices shown at checkout are in Canadian dollars. Until our public opening, checkout on this site runs in a clearly labeled sandbox mode and no real charges are made.
  • Rescheduling and cancellation windows will be shown at the time of booking; contact us if you need help with an existing booking.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the site, other guests, or the booking system.

Tournaments

Tournament registrations are per the event listing: team capacity, entry fee, and payment mode are shown before you register. Check-in codes identify your team at the venue on event day. Event rules and prizing are published per event.

Age policy and venue rules

NexVerse Arcade is an alcohol-free, all-ages venue. Minimum age and supervision requirements for specific VR experiences (including manufacturer age guidance for headsets) will be posted at the venue and on the relevant experience pages before opening. Guests must follow staff instructions and posted safety rules at all times; we may refuse or end a session for unsafe behaviour without refund.

Liability

VR and active play carry inherent physical risks. To the extent permitted by Ontario law, NexVerse’s liability for claims arising from your use of the website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. A separate participant waiver may be required at the venue.

Content and site availability

Site content (branding, images, copy) belongs to NexVerse or its licensors — don’t reuse it without permission. The site is provided as-is while we build toward opening; features marked as previews or sandbox may change.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the venue moves from pre-launch to open; changes take effect when posted here with a new “last updated” date. Questions? Email nexversearcade@gmail.com or use the contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
